Primers + Hot Waxes

A wax that is particularly popular in alpine skiing for recreational sports and training. It is hard and abrasion-resistant, making it suitable for high speeds. It has also proven itself and is valued as an ideal liquid base wax in all conditions. Low-fluoride wax recommended for use in cold and dry conditions.100 ml, sponge applicator bottle.Air temperature: ideal: -10°C to -5°C, but has also been the wax of choice at temperatures as low as -15°C and as high as 0°C.Humidity: according to new tests, successful between 20% and 90%.Rather dry tracks and slopes.

Fluor wax, for very cold conditions, air temperature -10°C to -25°C.135g in a box.Very hard base wax for extreme cold and long races, as well as very aggressive snow. Suitable for cross-country and alpine skiing.Ironing temperature: 140°C - 150°C. Be sure to scrape off the wax while it is still warm!  Scrape off a second time after it has cooled down.

Fluor wax, 135g in a box.For wet, aggressive snow in cold temperatures, -15°C to 0°C. Hard base wax suitable for long distances.Iron on at approx. 140°C.  First pull off warm, then cold. Brush thoroughly.

Fluor wax for medium temperatures, 135g in a box.Air temperature: -5°C / +5°C, humidity: min. 50%.For moist, solid to soft tracks and slopes.Iron at approx. 130°C. First scrape warm, then cold. Brush thoroughly.

For temperatures (air): - 25°C / -10°C Our LFW block wax has been modified. Instead of most fluorinated waxes, we have used siliconised waxes. These are more environmentally friendly as they degrade faster than fluorinated waxes. The performance of the waxes is not affected! Consequently we have changed itsd name, from LFW to SFW.Very hard, only very moderately fluorinated base wax for maximum performance in very cold, extreme temperatures. Long-distance base. Please note: Scrape first time, when the wax is still warm, scrape second time, when it is cold.135g box

SFW is the new name for our former LFW iron-on waxes. They now contain only very low levels of fluorine, with siliconised waxes added instead. This makes the waxes more environmentally friendly, as they can be broken down more quickly. But they don't lose any of their performance!SFW 20 is the wax for cold conditions from -5°C to -15°C, 135g.Ideal base wax for cold conditions with aggressive snow. Hard, yet easy to apply wax. Proven over long distances. Ideal product for anyone looking for an affordable base wax without compromising on performance.Iron at approx. 140°C. First scrape warm, then cold. Brush thoroughly. 

Very low fluorinated wax, 135g in a cardboard box. To make our waxes more environmentally friendly, we have replaced some of the fluorinated waxes with silicone waxes. These are more easily biodegradable. The performance of the waxes has not been affected by the new formulation! We have also changed the names for this group of waxes: LFW has become SFW. Air temperature:  -5°C to +5°C.For moist and solid to soft tracks.Iron at appr. 130°C. First scrape warm, then cold. Brush thoroughly. 

Primer at its best:ZIPPS fluorine-based polymer: TopBase 20Ultra Long Distance.Developed over many years of cooperation with the German Ski Association as the most important base coat and now ready for series production. Not a wax, but a liquid plastic coating with sensational durability for temperatures from -15°C to -0°C, also very good results at moderately positive air temperatures. For all types of snow. Lasts up to 200 km! 50 ml, supplied in a transport bottle with screw cap, plus a sponge applicator bottle for easy application. Please transfer to another container immediately upon receipt!Base preparation with TopBase20 fluoropolymerPreparation: Before applying TopBase20, brand new or freshly ground skis should be ironed with hard paraffin, scraped and thoroughly brushed. Then remove all wax residues with a wax remover.In all other cases, it is sufficient to brush the skis thoroughly and apply wax remover.Then apply TopBase20 with the sponge applicator in a thin layer to the clean and dry base. While the coating is still wet, brush it out in the direction of travel with a hard ZIPPS natural hair brush (hand brush twice or rotary brush once). Allow to dry.Then finish with a fine brush (ZIPPS nylon fine, hand brush two to three times, rotary brush once or twice). A 50 ml bottle is sufficient as a primer for 20 to 25 pairs of cross-country skis or approx. 15 pairs of carvers.
