ZIPPS Ski Wax brings HighSpeed under the Ski

Alpine racers fear, and not without good reason, that the base will "burn" in the area around the binding. This is where the highest pressure and thus the greatest frictional heat is generated at very high speeds. This is naturally particularly high on very icy slopes and in aggressive snow conditions. Ski wax has the task of making the ski fast and keeping it fast over the longest possible distances, but it should also optimally protect the base from heat damage.

The hard and ceramic-reinforced racing waxes of the ZIPPS ZR HS series (HS for HighSpeed) optimally meet the challenges for the ski base. They have also convinced professional athletes in World Cup races in downhill and giant slalom. Thanks to a new coating process for the ceramics, the ZIPPS development team has succeeded in further increasing their hydrophobicity (water repellency).
